Our Story

Our story is not about us but about the church. Years ago, Laramie Valley Chapel, our home church in Wyoming, sent us to serve at the International Baptist Church in Cologne, Germany.
Our family of six (now seven) packed our bags and began our life with this little international church.

We were tasked with revitalizing the small church by emphasizing faithful, expository preaching and cultivating a culture of relational discipleship among the congregation. We believed one of the ways we could best assist the church was to impart biblical knowledge to our kids and the children in the church.

However, finding appropriate children's materials for our international context was challenging. It was a journey of joy and discovery as we took on the gratifying task of creating new materials from Genesis to Revelation.

Over time, the church grew strong, and much to our delight, our fellow members joined in with their entrepreneurial spirit, creating their own resources for the church. The church (and now her church plants) demonstrated its spiritual vitality by producing various resources, including music, seminars, children's books, and Bible studies.

Through the creativity and dedication of its members, the local church stands out as a beacon of hope and faith. She carries a divine purpose—to exalt our Savior, Jesus Christ.
With steadfast determination, she will lead the way and inspire others to do the same. Her unwavering devotion will ignite a flame of faith in the hearts of many, and her actions will speak louder than words.
May her mission serve as a testament to the power of faith and the unwavering love of our Lord.

At Prisca Publishing, we are committed to this mission. We aim to strengthen each local church by providing members with an opportunity to use their spiritual gifts and talents to create something that is biblically excellent, not just for their church but for churches worldwide. We invite you to be part of this global impact through the collective efforts of local churches using their unique gifts and talents.

Our Beliefs

  • The Bible, comprising the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is God's inspired and inerrant Word.  It is the only ultimate authority in all matters of faith and practice.

  • There is only one living and true God who is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being.  God created, redeems, preserves, and rules the universe.  He is infinitely holy and perfect.

  • God the Father governs His universe, His creatures, and the course of human history with providential care in accordance with the purposes of His grace.  He is omnipotent, all-loving, and all-wise. To those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ, God is indeed a Father.

  • Christ, as God the Son, is eternal.  He became human through the incarnation as Jesus Christ, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.  Jesus perfectly revealed and executed the will of God, taking upon Himself the demands and necessities of human nature and identifying entirely with humanity, yet without sin.  He obeyed the divine law personally and made provision for the redemption of humanity from sin through His death on the cross.

  • The Holy Spirit is God's Spirit.  He inspired holy men in the past to write the Scriptures, and through illumination, He enables people to understand truth.  The Spirit exalts Christ and convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

  • According to the Christian doctrine of humanity, each person is created in God's image, male or female, and has a divine purpose.  However, due to Adam's historic sin, humanity has fallen.    Nevertheless, through Jesus Christ, humanity can be redeemed and restored to its original purpose.

  • Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who obtained eternal redemption for the believer by His own blood.  In its broadest sense, salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and glorification.

  • The Church is a local assembly of baptized believers who have joined in covenant to share the faith and fellowship of the gospel.  They observe the two ordinances of Christ, are committed to His teachings, and exercise the gifts, rights, and privileges given to them by His Word.  Their mission is to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.

  • As Christ's followers, it is our responsibility and privilege to spread the gospel and make disciples of all nations.  When we receive the new birth of the Spirit through God's Holy Spirit, it results in a deep love for others.  Therefore, as an essential part of our regenerated life, we must engage in missionary work, as it is frequently and expressly commanded in the teachings of Christ.

  • God's election is a gracious act of His will, through which He regenerates, sanctifies, and ultimately glorifies sinners.  Election is the magnificent manifestation of God's sovereign goodness.

  • Jesus Christ will come back in glory to judge the world in righteousness and raise the dead.  The wicked will be punished eternally, whereas the righteous will be welcomed into an eternal life of joy and fellowship with God.  God will make everything new in this new world, and we will glorify him forever.
